
鹦鹉飞出去后,教野生的鹦鹉说人话……养这种能活100岁的聪明鸟,要坐多少年牢?

它们在树洞里筑巢,图源:Dr John Martin它们通常还会有一些非常亲密的伙伴,能一起玩耍,有点像一个小团体。有时候,多个鸟群会聚集在特定区域一起觅食。这些鹦鹉拥有一套机智的天然警报系统,觅食时,群体中至少会有一只鹦鹉在附近的树上密切观察。如果察觉危险,它就会发出一声震耳欲聋的尖叫,提醒正在觅食的鸟儿立刻起飞。小团体出动。在圈养环境中也需要大量的陪伴和互动,图源:wikipedia而它们为什么聪明,最早可追溯到它们的祖先——恐龙。当小行星撞击地球后,地球环境快速变化,科学家推测这可能导致一些鸟类的祖先恐龙迅速进化出更大的大脑,从而在灾难后能更好地克服困难生存下来。“混蛋鸟”的坏名声又是咋来的?在澳洲某些地区,葵花凤头鹦鹉被视为有害动物,因为它们会啃坏很多东西,例如曾咬断价值8万美元的宽带网络电缆。看看商场外墙上的这些鹦鹉在干嘛……图源:Bidgee事实上,这是因为它们坚硬的喙会不断生长,咀嚼木头或树枝和树叶有助于保持一个健康的喙。此外,咀嚼和撕扯物品也是鹦鹉觅食、玩耍和探究物体的一种方式。而它们在人们头顶飞过时发出的响亮、刺耳的尖叫声,虽然扰民,但有利于它们在茂密的森林中交流,在危险来临时发出警报。如果违法饲养了,它也许会喊破喉咙举报你。
